Terms and Conditions

The terms for Website Design Kalgoorlie-Boulder services

These are the terms for working with Website Design Kalgoorlie-Boulder on web design, SEO, Google Ads and WordPress maintenance. I have written them in plain English so you know exactly where you stand.

Quotes and Payment

Clear prices before any work starts

Every quote is in writing, includes GST and is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent. After 30 days I may need to update the price.

Website projects need a deposit before work starts. The balance is due before the site goes live. I don’t publish a site on its live domain until it has been paid in full. Invoices are payable by the due date shown on them.

Work outside the agreed quote, such as extra pages or new features, is quoted separately before I do it.

Your Content and Ownership

What you supply and what you own

You supply the content for your website, including text details, logos and photos, unless writing or images are part of the quote. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send me.

Once the project is paid in full, you own your website, its content and your domain name. You get full administrator access to WordPress and Elementor. Third party themes, plugins and stock images remain under their own licences.

Monthly Plans

SEO, Google Ads and maintenance

Local SEO and WordPress maintenance plans run month to month. You can cancel with 30 days notice. Google Ads management plans have the minimum term shown on the plan, then continue month to month with 30 days notice.

Google Ads spend is paid directly to Google from your own account. It is separate from my management fee and you control the budget.

Nobody can guarantee a particular ranking on Google. I don’t either. Google decides its own results and changes them often. What I promise is honest work, clear reports and advice based on your real numbers.

Hosting, Plugins and Third Parties

Services I use but don't control

Websites rely on hosting companies, domain registrars, WordPress plugins and services like Google. I choose reliable options but I can’t control their outages, price changes or updates. Domain and hosting costs are separate from the website price.

If a third party service changes in a way that breaks part of your site, I’ll let you know the options and the cost to fix it.

Liability and the Law

The fine print, kept short

I take care with every project, but to the extent the law allows, my liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. I am not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Keeping your own backups is always wise, even with a maintenance plan in place.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If anything is unclear, call 0413 651 740 or email [email protected] before you go ahead.
