Monthly care plans that keep your site updated, backed up and secure
WordPress maintenance in Kalgoorlie is the boring job that stops expensive problems. My care plans handle updates, backups and security checks every month, so your site stays healthy while you get on with running the business.
Think of it like servicing a vehicle
Nobody in the Goldfields runs a ute or a loader without servicing it. Skip the services long enough and something expensive breaks at the worst time. WordPress is the same.
WordPress itself, your theme and every plugin get regular updates. Some fix bugs. Many fix security holes that hackers already know about. A site left alone for six months or a year becomes an easy target. Cleaning up a hacked site costs far more than a year of maintenance.
Updates can also clash with each other. A plugin update might break a contact form or a layout. Doing updates carefully, with a backup taken first and a check afterwards, is the difference between a five minute job and a lost weekend.
Month to month, including GST, cancel with 30 days notice
Every website I build comes with the first year of maintenance free. After that year, pick the plan that suits how important the site is to your business.

Sites built by other developers are welcome and get a quick health check before joining a plan. If the site has already been hacked, start with hacked website repair.
A rough guide
The right plan depends on how often the site changes and how much it would hurt if it went down.
A simple site that rarely changes and brings in the odd enquiry. Monthly updates and backups are plenty.
Sites that get regular enquiries and the occasional edit. Weekly backups mean less to lose.
Shops, booking sites and anything that brings in steady work. Daily backups, uptime alerts and hack recovery included.
Businesses that rely on Google rankings and want daily scans, rank tracking and Cloudflare tuning.
A typical update cycle
Before anything changes I take a full backup of the site. Then WordPress core, plugins and the theme get updated in a sensible order. Afterwards I check the key pages, test the contact form and look for anything out of place.
If an update breaks something I roll it back from the backup and sort out the conflict before trying again. You do not have to do anything. At the end of the month you get a short report showing what was updated, when backups ran and any security findings.
On the higher plans uptime monitoring runs around the clock. If the site goes down I get an alert straight away and start looking. That matters if your phone only rings when the website is up, which is true for a lot of Kalgoorlie-Boulder service businesses.
Happy to take over care for existing WordPress sites
Plenty of Goldfields businesses have a WordPress site built by a designer who has since moved on, closed up or stopped answering. I can take over the care of those sites.
First I do a health check. I look at the WordPress version, plugins, theme, hosting and backups. I tell you about anything risky, like abandoned plugins or a theme that has not been updated in years. Some sites join a plan straight away. Others need a tidy up first through website updates.
If the site is too far gone, I will say so plainly and suggest a redesign instead of patching it forever.

If a WordPress update breaks a Kalgoorlie business website on a care plan, the site is restored from the backup taken just before the update. The conflict is then fixed before the update is tried again. Clients on a plan are not charged extra for sorting out update problems.
A Boulder website that rarely changes still needs WordPress maintenance because plugins and WordPress itself keep releasing security fixes. Hackers target old versions even when the content never changes. The $19 Basic plan suits sites like this, with monthly updates and backups.
WordPress maintenance plans from Website Design Kalgoorlie-Boulder can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. There are no lock in contracts. If you cancel, you keep full access to the site and can manage updates yourself or hand them to someone else.
Hack recovery is included on the Business plan at $99 a month and the Elite plan at $189 a month. Lower plans include backups that make recovery easier, but the clean up itself is charged separately. See hacked website repair for how a clean up works.
You can do WordPress updates yourself if you are comfortable taking a backup first and fixing conflicts when something breaks. Many business owners start this way and stop once a bad update takes the site down. A plan hands that risk to someone who does it every week.
Send me your website address and I will check it over and recommend a plan.
